A native of Austin, Texas, Taylor Garcia (she/her) is an avid lover of the theatre and is honored to join and contribute to The Studio Arts Center. Taylor has been on stage or backstage since sixth grade and received a degree in Drama from the University of Dallas, where she also received All-American honors on the Crusader Softball team.
Taylor currently serves as the Athletic Director, Physical Education Teacher, and One-Act Play Director at St. Austin, a community-oriented Catholic school within walking distance of the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked professionally for the Zilker Hillside Theater and volunteers her time with ATX Theater. Taylor is an advocate of all folks, especially young people, finding themselves at home on stage, on the field, and wherever it is they shine. She resides in Austin with her human roommate, LC, and canine roommate, Taco.
